Common Concerns — Answered
I've never dived before — is it really safe?
Absolutely. Your PADI instructor provides a full 30-minute surface briefing before the first dive. The first dive is only 5–8 m deep in calm, sheltered waters. Our instructor-to-diver ratio is max 1:4, meaning constant supervision. We've completed thousands of introductory dives without a single serious incident.
I can't swim — can I still dive?
Yes. Scuba diving is not swimming. You wear a buoyancy compensator device (BCD) that keeps you effortlessly at any depth you choose. Many of our most enthusiastic guests are non-swimmers who feel completely safe throughout the experience.
Will I feel claustrophobic underwater?
The Aegean is crystal clear with 15–25 m visibility. You'll feel like you're flying, not enclosed. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, simply signal your instructor and you'll surface immediately — no questions asked.
What if I panic underwater?
Your instructor stays within arm's reach throughout both dives. The equipment is fully redundant — two regulators, easy-inflate BCD. The signal for "I want to go up" is understood immediately and respected without hesitation.
