Beginner Concerns
How deep will I go?
Maximum 5 metres. That's about 16 feet — shallow enough that sunlight fills the water and you can see the surface at all times.
What if I panic?
Your instructor is within arm's reach at all times. The signal to surface is immediate and unconditional. You're in complete control.

Do I need to know how to swim?＋
Basic water comfort helps but you don't need to be a strong swimmer. A buoyancy jacket keeps you afloat effortlessly.
How long is the beginner dive?＋
The underwater portion is approximately 30 minutes. Total experience including briefing and boat trip is about 3 hours.
Can children do beginner scuba?＋
Yes, minimum age is 10 with parental consent. Children dive at max 3 m depth with a dedicated instructor.
What's the difference between this and a full-day dive?＋
Beginner dives are single, shallow dives (max 5 m) lasting 30 min. Full-day includes 2 dives, deeper sites (up to 12 m), and lunch on board.
